The center named for newspaper publisher, James L. Knight, is comprised of the James L. Knight Center and the Miami Conference & Convention Center.
Overlooking the Miami River and adjoined to the Miami Hyatt hotel, The Knight Center intimately seats 4,646 patrons in a plush, wedge-shaped configuration that offers unobstructed sight lines to a 16,000 square foot stage with superior acoustical dynamics. Over the years, the center has hosted business conventions, concerts and political events. It is the annual host for Miami Dade College graduation ceremonies.
